Default Does anyone work for a title company

Looking at getting a bike that was never titled... It was registered in NY but never titled...any help would be appericated

it is a 125 cc bike purchased in maine in the 70's never needed to be titled but had to be registered in maine... sold to someone in NY for restoration at the time of purchase it was registered but again not titled. so of course nj wants a title and registered...

Does it have a VIN though? If it does, it shouldn't be that hard, just some paper work and waiting for the mail. Maybe even a trip to trenton. But if it doesn't have a VIN that process is going to be hell.
