Public Service Announcement
Please be careful out there. While the car drivers need to be more cognizant of motorcyclists, we as motorcyclists need to be more aware of them as well.

Thanks for posting this up Vin! It's important this time of year as we start to get ready for the upcoming season to remind ourselves about safety, on the bikes or in our cars.
Hopefully the AMA will get a whiff of this and perhaps make their own commercial for the states!

While it is a good point, that we all should look out for
each other, that is a poorly produced "public service
announcement". Watch closely, the car barely moves,
and then is hit in the driver's door by the bike.
This is a poorly staged ad; although done for a good cause.
The only thing I get out of this ad is that the rider
screwed up, moving too fast well out of his lane.
Maybe I'm just too picky...Let the flaming begin...

Nah, you're excused...your brain's just saturated with too many oatmeal stoudts right now.
On a serious note, great post Vin! I think the message is loud and clear here, it shocked the hell outta me and I've already been down. Be it the cager's or biker's fault the bottom line is it can happen to any bike at any time on the street. Always assume EVERY cager is out to get you no matter what the situation. It's all about defense and SIPDE.
