It's already started
Today at about 2:30pm I was caging it on 80 west near exit 30 in the left lane when a stealth troopie in a blacked out Charger (that I see all the time in that area) started heading up the rear so I moved over and he passed, then I moved back into the left lane, and he started pulling away from me. Shortly after that 5 rockets came screaming by over the hill on the eastbound side in the left lane and by the looks of it they were hitting low tripple digits easy. So the troop was on the brakes so hard he almost caused me to get rearended, then he cut across the median and tore ass after the bikes, I'm not sure how fast those new interceptors are but he seemed confident. Have fun on the highways this year fellas, the season's already ruined.

If its got the SRT8 set up thoses fuckers are very fast. I drove one not long ago and they have 425hp. I'm sure any decent Rocket could still out run it but damn you know they (Charger oinkers) are going to try with that thing.
Yes I must agree it has begun, but isn't there a little part of ya that wants to see how those sleds compete

My Boss is also a Essex County Sheriff. He said those Chargers are the 6 cylinder versions......
I didnt argue with him, but I know Rockaway Twp has 1 black Charger.... and I am betting its at least the base V8 version......

also while out riding today we saw 2 bad accidents (cars ...no bikes involed )one of them we witnessed happen ....while fueling up..... a pretty young girl blew through a yeild sign and creamed this old lady...which caused her suv to roll over twice and land back on its wheels........we ran over to see if all were ok ....(I checked on the pretty young girl) while the guys with girlfriends checked out the old lady....all were ok... the old lady stated that she had just put on her seat-belt SO WHILE IN YOUR CAGES ......BUCKEL-UP

Definately ruined for a guy here in Mt. Olive yesterday. Bike got cut off by a guy coming out of the turn around just before the entrance to Route 80. Didn't sound like he was hurt too bad. But the first aid squad gave him a ride in the helicopter due to the mechanism of injury.  |

I guess if you're inclined to run from cops then the season is ruined. Otherwise, meh, same deal as last year. At least I'd have something to talk to the cops about if they did pull me over... "new Charger? Cool."

Ron your such a drama queen....Those chargers know they have no chance in catching a crotch rocket. Our 0-60 would alone waste them let along them already doing "low triple digits" especially when the tropper has to slow down and pull a yee haw dukes of hazard move. Chargers or no chargers everyone should be safe on the main highways...I'd be more scared of wasted deer guts on rt 80 then I would a "Charger".
NO season will EVER be ruined because of a dodge charger....However, If it was an Acura With a Cold Air Intake..that would be a force not to be wreckoned with....  |
