Hopefully the dumbass learns. I've seen more than my share of accidents, bike or not, and I can't believe these tools are still out there like that. Ignorant, really, of what could happen to them.

You'd hope that he'd learn his lesson...but...I know someone who wears little gear, have gotten in accidents and still doesn't use their brain in wanting to wear it. Guess like the sayin' goes...can bring a horse to water but....

The speed seems to be a bit exaggerated but other than that the rider's damn lucky to only have sustained a fractured patella at the worst...grass isn't as soft as you think. Hopefully this will be a big introduction into the world of gear for him.

ummm.. i dont think thatmakes him a squid... not wearing gear is not squidly its a personal choice...
there are a million and ten things peolpe with gear do that make the m more squidly...
