Default Seat upgrade

Anybody done it? I know there are a few companies out there but I was thinking of using memory foam. I'm going to be on the lookout for a spare seat to experiment with.
After that long ass ride to WCW it felt like I was sitting on a brick.

Anyway I found a site that you can order custom cut peices pretty cheap.

Can also go to Sports Autority and pick up cycling shorts with the pads in the ass.

i dont recommend memory foam cause its soft and it really doesnt make a long ride comfortable. i did a memory foam mod to my stock seat and they sucked, i eventually shelled out a custom made corbin and ive never turned back.

I guess I can give that a try. Now when I get off my bike, I under why cowboys in the classic movies walk with their legs open as if they were still on the horse!

Let us know if you decide to do the seat and how it fares!

I have a strong hunch that memory foam won't offer the correct support...stick with the pros. that've been in it for a long time, your ass will thank you later.

I got an new Sargent seat, it is awesome, I've heard some less than best things about corbins from the other sites but I've never used corbin. Check around and see if you can pick up a seat used....
