Finished one dry cycle so far and seems to work well.

Pretty much sounds like a cheap transmission running with no oil in it, but there is no transmission on a dryer.

Drum is on rollers, not glides, really doesn't sound like any "normal" sound of something going wrong, it's a bit odd.

Take the drum out but leave the door switch connected and start it up, see how it sounds

If it has drum glides it could be them too

Very rarely do I ever hear a motor making noise
