Jonathan Rea wants Dani Pedrosa to arrive in WorldSBK championship. ‘WSBK is a great championship. Not always the best riders are on the best bikes, I’m sure Superbikes are an incredible place to compete. It would be great to come a rider with a real star quality from MotoGP. I’m not saying riders who are finishing their careers or who have nothing else to give. Those can go the other way, because we have better riders in the WSBK than in the first half of the MotoGP grid. We need a real star, this would attract public attention and people would see how fast our riders are, like Laverty, Davies, Sykes or me. We are very fast. It would be great if a rider like Pedrosa or Iannone came to the Superbikes. Honda has also worked with Crutchlow in the past. It would be incredible that he would come and to be honest would give much prestige to the category. We can do some things but we will always be seconds after MotoGP when we refer to the interaction and prestige between the fans. MotoGP is the Formula 1 of motorcycles."
