We didn't get to use the safety tyre because warm up was wet. And we couldn't have an extra dry warm-up session because one team didn't have enough fuel available. So we had a re-run of Phillip Island 2013--the time when Bridgestone suffered a similar problem--using tyres from the original allocation. That is, a 20-lap race (reduced from 25) with a compulsory pit stop to change bikes from laps nine to 11 to ensure tyres didn't do too many laps.
