So my day, and my life for that matter took a dramatic turn. I finished working out yesterday and was getting ready to go home when I felt some strange to me chest pain. Sat down and relaxed for a few, figured I was gassed from my work out. Decided to suck it up and head home to rest there. On the way home it got much worse and kind of new what was happening. I got home and fell in the front door and called 911. Told them the situation and to hurry the fuck up. Ncpd and seaford fd arrived quickly and did what they had to. They got me in the bus and did an ekg and lo and behold I was having an inferior wall mi. I knew I had a date in the Catholic lab for hopefully some stents and not a bypass. Got to the er and it was a quick hi and by to the er peeps and off to the cat lab. Got 3 stents and will get a 4th on monday. The pain was beyond intense an d to say it scared the fuck out of me was an understatement. They cleared the offending artery then I decided to go into v fib. I remember them pulling the fluroscope away and a nurse told me to cough so I did then as I was minding my own business WHAM I get shocked. It felt like a truck drove over me. Made it to recovery and eventually my room in the ccu. Still feel like poo but better than yesterday and we're still breathing. They are starting me on meds including blood thinners so my track season is over before it began. Will also have to change my exercise routines, no more hack squatting 500 pounds. So if anyone is around this weekend can they sneaks some beers into winthrop so I can watch football.
