This could be a hassle... but heres an idea.

Write up a nice letter explaining your situation. The primary mailing address is the police station with the report.

CC the CO of ever precinct, listed here: http://www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/html/phone.html

Also, CC your letter to every news agency you can think of (Channel abc, nbc, cnn, the spanish channel, whatever). It'll take time, so you're best off creating a contact list, and then doing a mail merge to generate all the copies. I bet if you do this, you'll get some mighty quick response

good news, I would have guessed that getting the original EMS driver's information would have been the major hurdle.

I would think so FDNY is not very forthcomming with the info so I think I would have had to wait untill I saw him in the ER again to get his info. I should have everything done by friday so I can resubmit my claim with the city again.

More importantly I pick up the bike tomorrow so i can finallly get some street riding in again.

I will be heading upstate fri if anyone can play hookey

Yea, but if the vehicle is used to chart around Russian escorts of course they're not gonna pay

My dodge rams 450 dollar mirror was taken off by a maywood ambulance while i was stopped at a light when i first got the truck. The entire process took about 6 months to correct. They gave me the run around......AND Im a 1st Lieutenant for WPFD and An EMT for WPFAS. I was furious. Were good at helping others but not our own I guess when the shit hits the fan. go figure.

Hey Kon, yo ucan send some of the escorts over to my office by CIH and they can be massage therapists

On a happier note FDNY actualy had the report# so Karens brother was able to pull it up for me ( saves me 10 bucks at least LOL) so now I wait for the new estimate from rockwells then resubmit my claim and hope to seemy money by the holidays.

Well I called the city to see about resubmitting my claim and told him that the estimate will be higher. So I expect to hear from them next week to see what I need to do. On another good note I got a call from 7 on your side and spoke with someone there and have his # in case the city gives me a hard time.

Coul dbe cool to see me go n tv and rant about the wonderful city services
