Default Ins. co. picked up my bike today...

...and as the guy rolled it out onto the flatbed I was able to get a good look at it for the first time from the air.

The wheel is turned a bit to the right here but when it was straight I noticed either the frame is bent by the steering head or the forks are tweaked to the right, headlight mount is badly bent, speedo and tach's mount bent, fork seals blown out, blinkers smashed, upper controls are totally gone on the badly bent (pushed forward) throttle end of the bars, clutch lever and left hand controls are damaged.

Head & Chin fairings are gone, gas tank has a big dent where the bars made contact from the tank slapper, foot peg and shift lever are bent, engine case and plastics are scratched.

Huge dent and scratches on the gas tank (that's duct tape covering a hole about the size of a dime that was punched thru, looks like it was shot).

Scraped & dented Yosh exhaust can that's pushed into the rear suspension possibly causing damage to it as well, rear plastics are scratched and their mounts are cracked on the subframe, scratched lower engine case, badly bent foot peg and foot brake controls.

Hard to tell in this one but either the swingarm and/or subframe is bent. The top of the wheel is kicked out to the left a bit and the tailsection looks twisted.

As you know pics never do justice to damage and my cam's resolution setting was off but you get the idea.

I'm gonna miss it!

I'll just put the ins. check in some form of interest bearing account so when it comes time to pick up a new one next year or the year after I'll have a nice down payment on a CBR600RR.
