Mine is not wrapped, When i was looking around for high mounts, I was concerned with heat as well as position. For a while, until I got the undertail I also had to relocated the blinkers with brackets as well (provided by micron) Once I saw where it would run relative to the passanger area, the only options for material were either carbon fiber or titanium. I opted for the titanium for the wieight/ appearance and the its ability to stay cool.

Dude i have the same high mount micron on my bike and never had a problem with a passenger riding on the back. you can see in my pic here http://sportbikeaddicts.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=3118

Just tell them not to worry and don't take there feet off the pegs and you'll be good to go.

I am gonna head up there around 11-11:30am. Should take me 1-1.5hrs to get there. Hopefully be there between 12:30 and 1pm
