I have no problems with the RC's seat.....however, I have only heard good things about the Sargent and Corbin.

Your best bet is to go to www.rc51.org or www.speedzilla.com

You can get the bump pad at www.rc51.org ($10 or $15) if they have any left. It is a stick on bump pad.

On long rides on the RC I have my leathers on and bicycle shorts under my leathers.....plenty of cusion for long rides.

What you can also do is go to Sports Autority and get the bicycle shorts with the padding in the ass...wear them under yer jeans or whatever.

I don't know if ride height is a problem with you or not. But most gel seats add a little seat height. Which is why i didn't change the stock one off my f4i. Actually i just wait until my ass is numb and then i don't have any problems.

A Corbin for your bike will actually lower your saddle height from it's stock position a bit instead of raising it.

Even if you do get an aftermarket saddle the padded bike shorts are the way to go, they are extremely comfortable and much more supportive than your junk's regular gear.

Pearl Izumi makes some good quality shorts

I have a Corbin on my RC51, but for track days, the OEM seat is a better choice. Use the Corbin for the road, the OEM if you put her on the track.
