Oil change

Default Oil change

I am looking to change my oil for the first time. I have a 2003 ZZR 1200. Any helpful hints or ways to make it esay for a newbie?

Buy the service manual for your bike, it'll tell you everything you need to know.

Not to take anything away from Rob as I am sure he will do a great job, but changing your oil is routine maintenance that every bike owner should learn how to do. Get a shop manual for the bike like everyone has said and give it a go.. it is pretty simple.

Seans also looking for a shop manual for his bike as well.. Dont think his bike came with even an owners manual as it was second hand

Remember to put the oil drain plug back in before adding the fresh oil.

what are the best sites to go to for the service man? I have looked and they are about 57.00 is that a good price?
