first two sessions are follow the leader. use this time to learn the track and the race line. Thats what it's for.
Third session you will be set free to be evaluated. Use what you have learned and dont ride as fast as you think you can.
Fourth session you'll be evaluated again.
Rest of the day you will join the white group but Bill and the coaches helping him will continue to evaluate the ART 1 riders.

You'll have plenty of time to ride at your pace...

thanks everyone for all the replies. had my first track day...and well, just to let you all know i just bought a set of race fairings. LOL. Everything was great, the 1st and 2nd session weren't bad at all. A lil slow, but was def needed for a person that had no idea how the layout for a track is. But i'm pretty much hooked. I think i did pretty well on my first day. turn 7 messed me up in the beginning, asked the coach, and corrected my line, turn 7 wasn't bad at all. My legs are still hurting, but i did manage to scrape my pucks on the last session!!! woot!!! Hopefully i'll see you guys at track sometime.

sure will!!! haven't paid yet (i'm broke right now buying all the "needed" equipment). But i saw the head coach (bill) had a monmouth cycle sticket on this bike and i thought to my self, is this the same one on 35? and long behold, looks like it is!

P.S. If you were there on 4/10, we were the only dudes in the budget truck. LOL!!!
