Patriot Guard - Sportbike Addicts

Today I went on a Patriot Guard ride. The PG is a group that honors the fallen soldiers. The function is to go and block the protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church. I had not planned on going but at the last min the WBC filed for a permit to protest.

So at 0615 12 of us left from Morristown Green to Brooklyn. We were given a Port Authority escort from the GW bridge to the Tri-boro bridge. We met up with others and the NYPD. We rode to the church then to the grave site. We were welcomed by the Gomez family.

There were over 100 motorcycles 95% were crusiers the other 5% were sport bikes. Of the crusiers about 60% were H-D's the rest were meteric. Most of the riders were veterans or ex-military. There was a bunch who just wanted to honor the fallen.

Speaking of assholes, I mean protestors, you should bring your gang back up to Motown cuz I'm sure the assholes are going to be there on the green again soon.

That's pretty cool, but I was reading their website and they say you only use legal and non-violent means to block the protestors. I think you should beat the living shit out of the fuckheads who actually go to a funeral to protest the war or whatever. Give those inconsiderate twats something to really whine about.

The god hates fags people aren't protesting the war, infact they're in favor of it because it kills americans. Look into what those people stand for. They truly are creeps and if you ever have the opportunity to fuck with them, you must. seriously.

Yeah the group they were going to block was the "god hates the war" who feel the need to protest the war at a funeral. These people are complete scum who should all die of AIDS.

I agree with you that these people need cancer of the eyes BUT in this chicken shit society a headline like "9 fingered BMW Riding Gorilla plays twister with WBC's entrails" will backfire.

As soon as someone is "oppressed" or discrimanated against even though they may actually deserve it the ACLU and the liberals come out of the woodwork screaming bloody murder. I believe that everyone has the right to vioce their opinion. I just think to do it at funeral is not needed.

I know most people is rag on the cruiser bunch, even i do sometimes, but it was impressive to see all these guys pay homage to a fellow brother in arms.

Hey rock i just read the article today in the NY Post about the SGT that died. I'm glad that you were able to make this run and atleast keep some of the lunatics away from a grieving mother.

Next time you hear about this kind of thing let me know.
