I've lived dead in the middle of this state for 21 years and would rather have grown up nowhere else...
Yeah, the government is a joke, the people are rude and inconsiderate in many parts...but the things that are awesome about it totally outnumber the negatives. And NY smells 10x worse.

I wish I could turn the computer off and go for a ride.. There are two reasons why I can't:
1) I work two jobs on and off, and they're both in front of a computer... That means lots and lots of posting.
2) It's too fuckin' colddddddddddddd! Last year I rode through most of the winter, but this year I've been sick several times, and I just don't really have the right gear to be riding in such cold weather. It seems colder than last year. My bike is put up for the time being.
When do you guys predict I'll be able to start her up again? I'm hoping for March, but that's probably not going to happen.

You've been watching too many episodes of those moron Gotti's. Funny thing is most of that doesn't even come from Jersey, the Staten Island momos go to Jersey clubs during the summer and turn everything into a mess, then the next thing you know it gets televised and everyone thinks that's how we are. Same goes for the opening scene of the Sopranos, all you see is the horrible industrial/urban areas in the opening credits and thruout the show so again what you see is what you think. Head west from Newark airport towards Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon counties and you'll find some awesome roads to drag a knee on if you choose that happen to be located in some of the most rural spots you'll ever see...just a little FYI.

Again, I was just kidding... but I've seen plenty of guido's in Jersey. I've been to Englishtown for Waterfest (any of you know about Waterfest?) three times, and of course we took in the night life throughout the three days we were there each year... but yes, I understand where it comes from, and I understand that you guys are uber sensitive about the topic. That's why I was poking fun about it.. lol

BTW, hope to meet lots of you at VIR sometime. I opened another bank account last year in order to dedicate it solely to my bike and the track. It's an expensive hobby, so I was hoping to get a jump start on it. Unfortunately I don't have the means to travel as of right now though

Don't let them tell you otherwise, NJ is full of guidos. And anyone that says it isn't is jealous they're not guidos.
