I thought all black guys knew how to remove car stereos? yeah, I went there.

anywho, you need to make sure those RCA's are inputs, not preamp outputs. What model number is the headunit? If it requires a special key to remove, I can probably get it for you. My dad is in the car electronics business.

Well depending on how it was installed in the car, you may not even need the keys. If they used a dash kit to clean up the hole, you can just pop the dash and unscrew the whole kit and then take the radio out from there.

Also how is hooking up the ipod directly to the rca gonna do? I use my xm kit to hook the ipod up but it sounds like crapola. I hear that you have to get a booster kit for the ipod to generate the quality sound for a car radio.

Oh and chris if you need a hand let me know. I'll be out of town friday to monday. Just give me a holla on the cell and we'll meet up.

Depnds on how it was installed, if they used the kit then all u need is the pioneer keys, but if they used the stock mitsu brackets then u gotta take the whole dash off cuase the radio is screwed right into that!!!! if u need the keys i have tons of pioneer keys. There should be no problem with plugging as long as it has rca inputs... and it should sound fine u dont need any boosters or anything they are a waste of money!!!!!

You have all outputs, no inputs. You can't hook up your iPod to it without a 3rd party unit.

DEX-P98R: Hi-Volt RCA Preouts (x3 pair) (Front/Rear + Subwoofer) (4 Volt, <100 Ohm)

If your pioneer headunit is IP BUS compatible you can buy one of these adapters to hook up to the headunit, it will give you AUX inputs.

If not then just go with an FM transmitter thingy.
