Dude I don't think Kennedy was trying to bring everyone down with what he said. Like he said, he's just trying to help you see things from a different perspective because he just had his own boat rocked a little bit over some shit, and now appreciates everything even more because of it. Nuts.

i get it.....i'm 41 years old, married, 3 kids, one job, mortgage, bills to pay, battling depression, my mother is a drug addict, my father is a drunk, and on and on.......

not really my place to tell someone else to get some perspective though.
i don't see myself as the internal moral voice of the bbs community, i don't see anyone else as such either.

Well we all have our problems you have yours and I have mine. Problems are problems and no one is speaking as the moral voice here. We all love doing the same thing so why the fighting?

We all know someone who has passed in our sport whether it was on the track or on the street and thats who I was thinking about when I spoke out loud and said things could be worse.

again...i post up something about being bummed about my next track day being far off.....and somehow you are making a leap to "well, people we all know die doing this".
