He wouldn't make it to the bike because I would kill him.

ahhh jenny you opened yourself up for this...
its NOT your choice. the government tells you you cant drink and operate a vehicle of any kind. i guess you can sit at the bar and monitor your drinking somehow and manage it to the point where you dont wind up over the legal limit but thats not drinking that annoying....

so NO you dont have a choice...

so NO you dont have a choice...

Actually, I do have a choice. Pay attention now...

Yes, that nasty organization called the government passed a law that states no one can drink and operate a vehicle. This is where you're a genius....

Now, the plot thickens...

Although the government passed this the law the choice now becomes...

"Do I drink and drive or do I drink and get a safe ride?" Those are 2 choices...

Of those 2 choices...I choose to not drink and ride!

Ya following me now???

Not because the government tells me I can't...but because I choose to ride safe and arrive alive.

That concludes my class on STFU and get off my case.

Thank you and have a nice day

...YOU DONT HAVE TWO CHOICES IN THIS SCENARIO ONE OF THEM IS ILLEGAL - YOU FOLLOW ME NOW???

Not because the government tells me I can't...

YOURE WRONG. THE GOVERNMENT DID TELL YOU YOU CANT

1st of all there is no reason to curse at me. and according to all the moderators here (including yourself) and the numerous emails ive received on the topic it is frowned upon.

2nd of all you need to stay on the topic if we are going to have a conversation that makes any sense. youre trying to compare apples to oranges. i never said anything about your choice to drink and get a ride home. im talking about your choice to drink and ride which is a choice you dont have the right to make.
you said and i quote : "I don't drink and ride, PERIOD! It's my life, it's my choice." to which i simply replied you dont even have that choice. you certainly do have the choice to drink and you certainly do have the choice to get a ride home from a friend but you certainly DONT have the choice to drink and ride - thats against the law. PERIOD. there is no arguing that. its fact. take a little time and think it through before you respond. and before you jump down my throat and curse me out, please pay attention to what i say. im not all bad.
take it easy, im on your team
