wow. didn't expect you guys to be that shallow.
I was born Jewish, but raised Atheist. And Christmas time is one of the MOST difficult for me to live through. This year seems to be one of themost difficult for some reason. It's HARD to be all alone at the holidays regardless of what your faith (or lack thereof in my case) is.

I dont se eit as being shallow Being alone for the holidays sucks no matter what. But ot have ot walk on eggshells in fear of pissing off someone else because yo umay have disrespected their holiday yet the could care less about yours is a bit annoying. We actualy get memos for this shit in the hospital Then again I usauly get in trouble for saying whats on my mind anyway. You need a prety thick skin to work in the ER and apparently the rest of the hospital doesnt have one.

The only reason that Hanukkah is so popular is because of Christmas...
It is not a real important holiday in the jewish faith.

I don't really believe in anything religion wise and could care less if some said happy hanukkah / kwanza / merry christmas to me. The people that do care need to get over them selves or wear a sign that says what their faith is so everyone will know what to say to them. It's only in the past couple of years that this has become a real issue. People need to lighten the fuck up. I could understand if someone was knocking their faith them getting upset, but to get pissed when someone says merry xmas come on now...

I guess so. When it comes to politics and religion everyone thinks what they believe is right and there is no changing their minds.. Opinions and beliefs are like assholes every has one and thinks it doesn't stink.

I used to spend the holidays alone, before I was married. It never bothered me though. I went to AC a lot, I can honestly say I've been there for every holiday at one time or another.
