I dont think the front could move from side to side since the rear stand is goint through the rear axle. The front wheel could hop or turn though. I'd strap the front down...

I like that strapless stand, I am probably going to order one and see how I like it.
BTW, your trailer looks good. I took some advice friom CBRBob and painted the floor and ramp of my trailer with garage floor paint with non-skid added to the paint. So far, so good. I put down one coat yesterday, will put down another tomorrow.
The previous owner of my trailer put in some really useful wood shelving and this type of bike mount will allow me to keep using the shelving without having to remove it for the one bike I need to mount forward in the trailer.

The front of the bike can not move from side to side. The wheel can turn but that has no impact.
I am probabally going to use an all weather carpet on the floor and do a two tone paint job on the walls and add flourescent lighting as well. I am going to paint the rear ramp with an anti slip paint.
Hey John,
I did not replace the pannels I will live with them the way they are. As for your 2X4's they are long gone.

I went to Home Depot and picked up a gallon of Behr garage flooring paint and had them shake in a bag of non-slip additive. Worked out pretty well and the price was good. I just hope that hot tires don't pull the paint off the floor easily.
I also just ordered a 4inch wide x 60 foot roll of non skid tape for extra traction on the ramp.

The rule of thumb is 10% of the trailer weight should be placed on the tongue.
2000 lbs loaded trailer weight = 200 lbs of tongue weight.

Yup, the rule of thumb you mentioned is right.

Damn, FedEx is quick. I ordered the strapless stand two days ago from Texas and it arrived today.

Made a bit more progress. I installed the 3 4ft. lights, aluminum shelf (thanks again Ken), nice raxx stand holders, fire extinguigher, and the wheels on the spares on the side door. The next step is the carpet which I will do this weekend. Sorry for the crappy pics, they were taken on my cell as I can not find my camera.

Mike
question about the Nice Raxx stand mounts. Does the $40 kit mount one Pit Bull stand or a pair of stands? I am about to order this for my trailer. Just wondering if I need one or two kits to mount a set of front and rear stands.
thanks
Ken
