All that R&D and money and the hanger still looks like something I whipped up in a few seconds with material from Home Depot.

I was thinking the same thing. there is another bolt hole there that looks like something was bolted to it at some point. Kinda like they needed a bracket and pulled one off of someone elses bike to make it work.

im waiting for termi to drop that exhaust, there is pics of it floating around the net mounted on a 06 R6. if does come out im gonna get it for my 05.

Same thoughts here about the exhaust hanger, I'm thinking it's just a display bike that's not for the track...cuz I believe if it was that hanger would be made of either CF or Ti...
