well of course it is dangerous, but it's like the no-helmet law. riders have a choice to lanesplit just as they have the "choice" to wear a helmet while riding (in other states obviously). so...those with better judgment will make the better decisions.

Word is, some wife of a recently deceased politician (she is now in his office) put this forth because someone she knew asked her to. She has no idea what it is about and what the ramifications are either way.

Like 5 years ago I was splitting lanes on the GSP in the middle of the summer -sunday shore traffic- and I was going between the lanes and a rottweiler lunged at my head out of the back window of a pathfinder. I damn near crapped myself. Helmet on or not, that scared the shit out of me. lol.
Theres always gonna be the asshole that is angry with bikes since we can get between them and will try to cut you off. Just make a fist and smash his/her mirror off as you go by. They'll get the idea. I know I have kicked my fair share of cabs in the city.

better to possibly teach a lesson than allow them to keep on with their arrogant ways. He may still be an asshole but he may think twice after what happened last time, ya know?

heres what you do...just keep a spark plug in your pocket and when someone tries to fuck with you throw that shit at their back window and watch it explode in a million pieces, that'll teach them a lesson.... and yes this does work, i've witnessed it a few times in my life
