they didnt.. they changed it.. they made it back to a bannana seat bike..infact i think pits has the newer F4i with the banana seat. and they also introduced the 600rr...
what year bike you chekcing out.. ?
BTW the newer bannana seat F4is can be switched back to the dual seat by replacing with an older subframe..
