Advice Please?
Was thinking of buying a new bike, and paying cash, but some of these mo mos dont have the title in hand! So, now i'm in a position to hand over cash so the guy can pay it off, then in 3 weeks, I get the title. He's even willing to give me the bike. Guy sounds straight up....BUT I HATE DOING IT THIS WAY!
On my first bike, the dude had the cash, he paid it off and I waited till he got the title to pick it up. I kind of want this bike, but still...cant ride it for 3 weeks after I get it. WTF!!!!
Any Advice.

If you do decide to go ahead and buy it make sure you do this. What kind of bike are you looking for?

If you have to have that bike, don't do the guy any favors dude. Get a notorized letter like Saxon suggested so there's no confusion about who owns the bike or forget it and get a different bike.

Personally, I'd only buy a bike that has a title coming with it when cash is traded.

Something still stinks. Don't give him anything till you look at it and see the title in his hand.
