Got a new job
This past tuesday I interviewed for a position as a "Training & Development Specialist". Today I was offered the job and I plan to accept the job tuesday morning.
I've been an HVAC tech on the road for 16 years (The last 8 where I am now at PSE&G). I'm not leaving the co. just moving to a different dept.
I'm really looking forward to this, it's a whole new challenge. Basically, I'll be an instructor for the Appliance Service Business apprenticeship program. I'll also develop new classes and perform incumbent training.
The best part is no more forced OT!!! This job is 7-3:30 mon-fri!!!

well as of right now they put like 5 routes into 1 and reading 3000+ meters in 5 hours or so. all the Gas Districts will be gone from meter reading department and is going to the Vans and could read 5000+ in a day. the Bridgewater Office is gonna be damn near whiped out.
im in collections full time hopefully next month, i start the training in 2 weeks. and i know i'll miss the hours from meter reading
