I let road rage get the best of me
I was riding down the highway with a buddy the other night...some asshole in a supra nearly ran us both over while taking an offramp junction to a different highway, so I got the bright idea that I needed to speed up and get his plate number. Well, at the last minute while I was gaining on him, he changed lanes real fast...in front of him was an old man in an Infinity driving about 40mph down the interstate...I had no time to make any kind of reaction...next thing I know, I'm flying through the air and hit the ground and slide and roll for a while...An ER visit later, here I sit with two broken arms, a dislocated shoulder and a seriously totaled bike. Could've been much worse, but I think I've learned my lesson that road rage just isn't worth my life...

Well, surgery on the arms went well. They put plates and screws in both and the recovery stage is going well so far also. It was hell for the first few hours after surgery from all the swelling and throbbing in my arms, morphine wasn't even making the pain go away...but after a few hours of good sleep things started going better. Have another surgery scheduled in about two weeks for my shattered heel bone.
To answer all that have asked how I typed this with two broken arms, I had one of those talk to text things laying around and the words it doesn't recognize I can type with one finger lol.
