Default my first trackday w/e at PIR, april 16

DSH was on the r6.

my ride.

it was nice that the track was not that crowded.

everyone should try the track at least once. it was awesome. i can't wait to get back out there.

mack, it was cool to see a familiar face. lol, it was funny to hear the instructors give you the thumbs up and the immediately the "slow down" signal..!

awesome pics! I still don't think I'm ready for the track, maybe I'm making it out more than it is, but I figure I'll wait until I get all the gear I want.

It looks exciting though, I can't wait for my first time.

if you keep thinking that way you will never be "ready"
honestly the sooner you go out and learn the proper way to ride a sportbike the better, before you learn bad habits. and even if you only go once and never again, what you will learn in that one day will be way beyond what you will learn on the street in years.

I only went once last year (wish I went more). It improved my street riding 100%. I'm planning on getting out there 2 to 3 times this year (crossing fingers). No better riding experience.

PS. Song, looking real good out there.

Hey song...great to see you out there...I'm already pumped for Shannonville the first week in May. Had a great time it's nice not to have to worry about cops for once and shit. Well hopefully we'll see each other more at the track in the future.

good to see u out there too dave. ..funny you mention cops bc one the first few laps i saw the ambulance out of the corner of my eye and wanted to glance over thinking i was passing a cop or something! lol...there's one street riding habit not necessary on the track.

thanks everybody. i felt like such a noob out there, but once the day started, it was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. i am definitely going back soon...just need to decide which track and when.

Nice report on your first track day song. I'm glad you got out there and tore it up. I heard about the instructor asking "who here is an aggresive street rider" then you looked at mack as he raised his hand.

Hopefully one day i'll be able to get out there and run some laps with you.

Oh but by the way these pants have to go
