when i was installing my SS lines i got alot of help from a guy named Sergio who works for Galfer brakes, he told me that its not a good idea to put in DOT 5 because it requires too much work and there are little to no benefits at all. he recommended me to stick to DOT 4 because they dont require any flushing of current systems and their boiling points are high also depending on company.
