Oil Analysis

Any one ever have one performed? And if you have what did your analysis say?

For those who don't know what one is:

Analysis can tell you if your oil is good. Changing to soon or too late. It gives you the condition of the oil and it's additive packs. It gives you wear metals, Fuel dilution, anti-freeze Etc. If used as a tool, you can tell if there is a pending disaster.

Never had a need to. If an engine was on its way out, you can tell. Sounds, performance. If something is giving you an indication, then sure, go ahead.

I think about $25 depends on which company you use.

I have done it on cars when running extended drain intervals (12-15K miles 1 year) just to make sure there wasn't a problem.
