I just got my Economic Stimulus check over the weekend! I love free money!

So what's everybody going out & buying??

I must admit, I will not be contributing to the US Economic Stimulus program...my money will be going right into the bank. :nod2:

I used it to pay the bill for the taxes I owed. :(

I was hanging out with a few friends this weekend and everyone said if they're going to spend it, it's not going to be for a few months. More or less everyone I spoke to is either banking it or paying down some debt.

Personally, I just had to buy some home medical equipment for my wife so I guess you can technically say I spent mine (and then some) before I even got it, if you want to look at it like that.

I don't get one.

Mine will be used for a nice new shed.

New helmet, since I managed to bounce mine off the pavement.:(

Got mine last month shortly after my returns, but it's not really free, you're just getting a extra portion of general federal taxes back.

You lost me right there, cause I did my own taxes and got back exactly what I would have if they did or didn't have this goofy program.

Correct...consider it a bonus from the general tax pool.
