Winter plans?

Time to start thinking about those winter plans.

So what’s on your plate?

Last winter saw a lot of work done for me so this winter I’m keeping it simple:

1. Brake service/cleaning including replacing caliper seals.
2. Go back to 17/40 gearing (currently 16/40).
3. LED’s for plate light integrated into tail light lens.
4. Refinish swingarm.
5. Prep second set of wheels for commuter use (BT-020’s ?)
6. Clean it with a toothbrush (er… clean the nitty gritty stuff).
7. Fresh set of plugs.

XX, wash it and ride it all winter.

929, wash it, check valve clearances.

All is well LOL

for this winter...
it cone go either one of these 3 pths for me

1- street bike.
- get new plastics painted and put on
- change breake rotors and/or rims as well
- complted the retro fit of the HID xenon projectors int omy headlight and mount it on the bike
- maybe get new tires
- sparks air filter and remap the PCIII

2- track bike. - depending on what happens in court.
- get race plastics
- change breake rotors and/or rims as well (basiclaly get it race ready)
- sparks air filter and remap the PCIII

3 - stunt bike. also depending on what happens in court, andif i finally motivate my slef this winter to actually get out and practice and learn
- get a cage
- remove all platcis
- get it to be streetabel but only to ride around localy.
- gearing

worst case senerio sell the damn bike.

save for a house

ffejtable 09-23-2005 01:28 PM

i will probably keep riding the street bike, but the toothbrush cleaning sounds good...

track bike #1 (red 96 zx6r) will be winterized properly to be sold in the spring...

track bike #2 (01 blue zx6r) will probbaly be ridden once in a while, but id like to find a bolt on exhaust and put on stainless lines... Will look for a cheap set of track plastics as well..

non bike related will be to clean up the house (yeah right), schoolwork and snowboarding...

Strip the SV of it's street plastics and sell/trade for track bodywork.
