Please SBA, Pimp my ride!

Currently the proud co-owner of a 6x10 enclosed trailer. It's maybe 1mo old and she's already got some battle scars. Intending on repairing some of the damage this w/e and was thinking it'd also be an opportunity to 'pimp' it out a bit. I've seen some nice setups at trackdays, mostly in the larger trailers. I'm most curious to see how people have maximized the inside space. Would love to see what you guys are working with, everything from "Must have" items to ridiculous ones. Pictures of trailers welcome, pictures of toothless trailer women…not so much...

Here are some pics of my 7x14. If you spend any time inside your trailer (we sleep in ours) I highly suggest the AC unit. It makes life at the track in the summer a pleasure. NOthing like coming off the track after a long race and sitting in a sub 70 degree trailer to cool off.

Other things like the microwave, lights and cabinets are just added comfort.

Damn NJ, that's a sweet setup

My friend hated his fun mover, sold it for a cool trailer style fun mover. Looks more like a 32ft Standard trailer on the outside but just like a fun mover on the inside. Unless we pick up a motorhome in the next year or two, thats the way we are going to go.

Here's what I did with my 6x12. It'll carry three bikes too.

I'll find the spec sheet when I get home after work and PM you. I can't remember if it’s 6x12 or 7x12 (or the rest of the details for that matter).

I paid about $450 shipped from http://www.rvsupplywarehouse.com/pro...alog.cfm/nid/3 a few years ago. Price is now around $499 but WELL worth it IMO. The only thing I regret is not adding the heat strip to the unit. Not a real big deal since we use a portable heater but it would have been nice.

thanks..i was wondering how much those units go for.

the other option under consideration was a portable ac unit...saw them for under $400...the smaller units going for about $300.

the cheapest method i heard was to mount a temporary door (plywood) with a cut out for a home ac unit (window mount type), hook it up to a generator and voila, you've got AC for the trailer. i was thinking we could leave the rear ramp door down and hang up those butcher shop type of vinyl plastic strips to keep teh cool air in, and serve as a doorway w/o having to open/close the ramp door all the time. also it would let in some light too.
