go out periodically and shovel the snow so there is only a little to remove at a time

go out when the snow stops, so you only shovel one time

who shovels? let the help take care of that...

Depends on the storm. If its big I'll try to do some so I'm inundated with snow removal. If it's a relatively small storm I'll just wait until its all over and shovel.

Depends. But something like we just had, I went out mid way through it than a few more times afterwards. Put all the snow from my driveway, sidewalks and about 4 feet from the street to the curb in the middle of the road for the plow. When the storm was done, all I had to do was pass the shovel once and done. Meanwhile mother fuckers on this street were spending hours digging out :)
