I think the inner ring of blue is 15"... the outer ring that runs through PA is the <2" one. :)

Hope it misses jersey and hits just staten island... that place could use a good washing. ;)

Getting spurts of heavy rain. Man, normally weather doesn't bother me(unless its a cat-9 up in canada lmao) but I got a weird feeling bout this one in my gut that I can't shake. Picked up a generator at Cabelas, got my lil drain system going for the gutters, everything brought inside, tub filled with some water...now its just a waiting game.

Brian78 08-27-2011 06:54 PM

cakes, which generator did u get... if you use it let me know how it is.

Snagged this one from Cabelas, not a Honda but there are literally no geny's anywhere. Starts up fine, as long as it keeps my sump pumps (and coffee pot) goin, I'm not gonna mind a lil bit of noise lol.

Hope nobody took too much damage from the storm. Not much happened by me other than some minor sea water flooding and broken tree branches all over the place. Glad it wasn't worse.

Cakes206 08-28-2011 04:28 PM

This is what kept me up all night...the sound of sump pumps are music to my ears lol

5' of waterbin my basement (a company thats this thursday to reot my entire basement) and water was within inches of coming IN my front door. the street lost power for almost 12 hours but im solar so no worries

SPL170db 08-29-2011 10:30 PM

I just had fun crossing a few new rivers out there. It's nice to have ground clearance sometimes.

Cakes206 09-06-2011 07:56 AM

Took a quick clip with my phone of one of the side streets in my area. For those who know where I live, I have the woods in the dead end(a natural flood basin) and then this road continues past the woods. Basically if the woods weren't there my street would connect to this one. Sad sight for sure.

Couple pics from sister in laws house in Rutherford. The water was still rising when these were taken. The eclipse in the driveway is sitting about 2ft off the ground on blocks. Fire Dept evacuated my wife and kid by boat...
